אֱלֹהֵי עֹז תְּהִלָּתִי
O My Almighty God, object of my praise
רְפָאֵנִי וְאֵרָפֵא
Heal me and I shall be healed
וְתֵן מַרְפֵּא לְמַחֲלָתִי
Grant a cure for my illness
לְבַל אָמוּת וְאֶסָּפֶה
Lest I die and be wiped out
לְךָ אוֹדֶה בְּעוֹדִי חַי
I shall praise you as long as I live
בְּתוֹךְ רֵעַי וְגַם אַחַי
Among my friends and my brothers too
וְאַרְבֶּה מַהֲלַל שִׂיחִי
I shall increase the praise of my prayers
בְּקוֹל עָרֵב וְנִיב יָפֶה
With a sweet voice and beautiful language
יְשׁוּעָתְךָ תְּבוֹאֵנִי
May Your salvation come upon me
וְעַל רַגְלַי תְּקִימֵנִי
That You stand me up on my feet
בְּשׁוּבִי עוֹד אֱלֵי כַנִּי
So that I once again stand on my own
לְטוֹבָתְךָ אֲנִי צוֹפֶה
I look forward to Your beneficence
קְשׁוֹב כִּי רַב כְּאֵב לִבִּי
Take heed, for the pain of my heart is great
כְּאֵשׁ בּוֹעֵר בְּתוֹךְ קִרְבִּי
It burns like a fire within me
וְלֹא נוֹתְרָה נְשָׁמָה בִּי
Leaving me with no breath
וְכֹחִי הוּא מְאֹד רָפֶה
and greatly sapping my strength
יְהִי נָא חַסְדְּךָ עָלַי
May Your grace be upon me
לְסָמְכֵנִי בְּמַעְגָּלַי
To aid me in my ways
וְכָל יָמַי וְגַם לֵילַי
And all my days and my nights too
אֲהַלֶּלְךָ בְּנֹעַם פֶּה
I shall pleasantly praise you
מְחֵה פִשְׁעִי כְּמוֹ עָנָן
Wipe away my sin like a cloud
בְּצֵל שַׁדַּי יִתְלוֹנָן
He shall dwell in the shadow of the Almighty
וְאֵרָאֶה וְאֶתְבּוֹנָן
And I will be shown and observe
מְקוֹם סַפִּיר וְגַם יָשְׁפֵה
A place of sapphires and precious stones
